Filtered Media appoints former Royal Foundation Media Manager to lead new Social Enterprise Practice
Agency now telling stories, brilliantly, for charities, causes and corporate foundations
Sydney, 10 April 2018 – Integrated brand storytelling agency, Filtered Media, has appointed former Media Manager on Their Royal Highnesses’ Heads Together mental health campaign, Louisa Sampson, to the newly created role of Director, Social Enterprise at Filtered Media.
The Social Enterprise practice is the latest initiative of the pioneering agency that has worked with highly respected consumer, technology, finance and lifestyle brands like KitchenAid, Vitamix, Telstra, Adobe, Coca-Cola, Vision Personal Training, Financial Planning Association and many others over its ten-year history.
It’s not uncommon for agencies to do pro-bono work for social enterprise clients; this is the first time an integrated brand storytelling agency with such a strong heritage in business and consumer PR and content marketing in Australia brings its experience to bear with a dedicated commercial practice focused on helping causes, corporate foundations, government agencies, social enterprises and not for profits tell their stories, brilliantly.

Louisa (pictured left) has extensive experience working with charities and government, including a number of high-profile campaigns in the UK. Most recently, she helped change the conversation on mental health by working on the media relations for The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry’s Heads Together campaign. She also led communications for the Prime Minister’s Points of Light volunteering award and was Senior Press Officer for the former UK Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg.
The Social Enterprise practice debuts this month with three new clients, City West Housing, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and 4Community. They join existing social purpose-driven founding clients Diabetes NSW & ACT and KYUP! Project who were previously served under Filtered Media’s Consumer + Lifestyle practice.
